Exclusively for Veterans

Although the canteen is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, the VFW is exclusively for veterans who have served in a foreign war, insurgency, or expedition that is recognized by the award of a campaign or service medal, or who received hostile fire or imminent danger pay. We also offer assistance with VA claims, financial assistance programs like Unmet Needs, and educational support through scholarships to all veterans, regardless of their membership status.

"The VFW Post 1000 has been a pillar of support for me and my family. Their unwavering commitment to veterans is truly commendable."
